SIRE Disaster Recovery

SIRE offers a configurable synchronous or asynchronous replication to a hotsite, providing “day after” access to the data and continuity of basic, mission-critical functions. A duplicate of your existing system (including hardware) is created at a secure co-locate facility outside of your geographic region.

Because the facility is fully operational, provides a myriad of security features, offers Internet access to the outside world, and is being downloaded continuously with data from your local system, it is considered a “hotsite”. This module is configured to replicate your data in either real time (synchronous) or with a slight delay (asynchronous). If a disaster occurs, your clients, constituents, or the public in general can be given permission to access the critical documents they need right now over the Internet. The result is virtually zero loss of data.
