SIRE Workflow & Forms Training

The next Workflow and Forms training is scheduled for next month.

This course is more than an introduction to the SIRE Workflow and Forms modules. It carefully takes students through all the functions and features of the modules at an accelerated pace, and includes some scripting as well. We'll examine workflows containing the most commonly used features, look at workflow and forms administration to design, build, review, and edit your workflows and forms. We will use scripting for a more dynamic and robust customization.

Training will take place in a classroom setting with no more than 8 participants.

» Prerequisites: VB Script and SQL recommended but not required

From Massive Paper to Cost Saver in about Six Months

In six months time, the Louisville Metro Council has managed to drastically
reduce its use of paper thanks to the new SIRE Agenda Plus system installed last November. “It’s great that through the increasing use of technology, we become more efficient and at the same time help to improve the environment,” says Metro Council President Rick Blackwell (D) 12.
When the SIRE Agenda Plus system was put in place in November, council
members and council committees were still using paper bound packets of information for agendas and legislation.

Summer finally seems to have made its way to our neck of the woods! Grass is growing, flowers are blooming, and just as nature is busy getting ready for summer, so are we here at SIRE! We are busy improving our products and incorporating new features for you, planning our annual RoundTable, and preparing for this year's IIMC conference. It's an exciting time at SIRE, and we hope you'll soon notice the fruit of our labor.
